Air Mauritius Baggage Allowance

The free baggage allowance will be clarified on the ticket, but in case of an electronic ticket, it will be shown on itinerary and receipt.

The following baggage allowance data applies to tickets issued as from 15 Jun 2016 per passenger (adult or child over 2 years of age):

·        For business class, baggage allowance for domestic or international flights is 2 pieces with a maximum weight limit of 32 kg each.

·        For economy class, baggage allowance varies based on the origin and the destination. For example:

        If your flight is from Africa to Europe/Asia/Oceania/Africa/Indian Ocean Islands, then the baggage allowance will be 2 pieces (up to 23 kg each).

        If your flight is from Europe via Paris or Amsterdam to the Indian Ocean Islands/Africa/Asia/Oceania, then the baggage allowance will be 1 piece (up to 23 kg).

        If your flight is from Europe via London to the Indian Ocean Islands/Africa/Asia/Oceania, then the baggage allowance will be 1 piece (up to 30 kg).

        If your flight is from Asia to the Indian Ocean Islands/Africa/Asia/Oceania/Europe via London, then the baggage allowance will be 1 piece (up to 30 kg).

        If your flight is from Mauritius/Rodrigues to Rodrigues/Mauritius, then the baggage allowance will be 15kg.

        If your flight is from Mauritius/Rodrigues to Reunion/Madagascar, then the baggage allowance will be 1 piece (up to 30 kg).

        If your flight is from Mauritius/Rodrigues to Europe via Paris, then the baggage allowance will be 1 piece (up to 23 kg).

        If your flight is from Mauritius/Rodrigues to Europe via London/Asia/Oceania/Africa, then the baggage allowance will be 2 pieces (up to 23 kg each).

Avoiding long queues at the check-in counters at the airport to save time, online check-in is available from anywhere anytime from 30 hours up to 2 hours before the flight's departure, except for Mumbai of which the passenger can check-in online anytime from 30 hours up to 4 hours before flight departure.
