The staff were great they were very hard workin cared immensely about their jobs and the results of those jobs meant everything. the manager amd the head maid lead a good cleaning crew who was very thoughtful about the buildings presentation they worked long hours there everytime i woke and every time i slept 4-6 hours usually, so it seemed they didn't rest truly and were very very good at their jobs the hotel was spotless well run and efficient downsides the rooms although very clean and extraordinarily presented at least the one my party occupied were very very poorly renovated the paint although super 8 franchise color on the dot had not enough painted on to achieve full coverages the floors were vinyl plank waterproof medium quality so not too cheap but were improperly installed resultig in the planks pulling themselves.apart while being walked on the owners of this hotel owe any success achieved entirely to their staff and those who lead them without them i would not have given a good rating period their was very little offered in the way of amenities they had barly enough towels to give them out like when requested for they didnt exist on site amd they could only provide two per room amd had very few extras to spare and the ice machine was not ready to be used for whatever untold reasons making those who stay ask staff for ice the owners should appreciate their efforts as they give five star service in a two star room
Sadly -this place was horrible. Dirty floors, broken lamp, damaged furniture, chipped walls - door bolt would not catch! People running up and down the stairs - loud noises. Unpaved parking lot. Horrible
Staff are friendly and accommodating ! Very clean nicely decorated room, with large fridge and microwave.
I was traveling with two kids and three pets, while caravanning with my dad and stepmom. We decided to stop here because Super 8 has been a decent stay in the past, and their pet policy is generally good. We reserved two rooms through Expedia, on two separate transactions. When we arrived, we were told one of our reservations had been canceled, and that there was no vacancy left to correct the error. However, Expedia customer support said our reservation had NOT been canceled, and the credit card had already been charged for the stay. This will be something to hash out between Expedia and Super 8.
The employee at the front desk was nice, but she said there was nothing she could do. I asked if my dad and stepmom could just stay with us in our room, and if we could have a rollaway for one of my kids. She arranged it, cheerfully. However, my dad and stepmom chose not to stay there after all, as they found other lodging for the night (which ended up being more comfortable).
The pros:
Room smelled fresh and clean upon arrival.
Floor was laminate, so it was excellent for pets.
Friendly staff
Adequate beds/bedding
Nearby restaurants open late and do delivery
The cons:
Room reservation canceled without notice
Older fixtures; dingy bathtub/shower with some mold
Chrome shower fixtures scummy
Poor water pressure in the shower - I couldn’t rinse my hair out
Shower drain is slow and backed up while I was showering
Dirt and footprints in the tub that were not ours
Cockroaches!
I was put in a smoking room smell bad
I don’t smoke coffee wasn’t good bad taste
Indoor cold pool, free breakfast, nice room!
