The view if the ocean is awesome.
I did not like the lack of information such as the restaurant being a .7 km walk from the cabin along a rough pathway with no shade. The .7 km walk back from the restaurant is all uphill. There are signs that point down to the restaurant but there are few signs that point to the cabin area or to reception so you need to walk around to find the signs. This is not conducive to people with mobility issues. If we had not been met at the lower cable car station upon our arrival, we would not have been able to easily find our cabin and since we were not given a key we would not have been able to get in to the cabin.
The cabin was nicely equipped with a kettle and drip coffee pot but bring your own teabags and coffee. The restaurant does not open for breakfast until 9 AM. There are no vending machines. We did pre-order food for an evening meal but we did not realize that the walk to the restaurant was such a long distance. To have your food delivered to your cabin is five Euro but it was not explained whether you pay an additional five Euro to have someone come and get the pots. (There was no disposable containers).
With the cable car service stopping at 6 PM, we found that this destination was more of a hassle than it was an enjoyment. The restaurant area is the only place with any activity.
