Day 1

Arrival in Kyiv
Arrive in Kyiv and get transferred to your hotel. After checking in, you have the rest of the day at leisure. Explore the city on foot or try out some delicious Ukrainian dishes at restaurants nearby.

Day 2

Kyiv city tour
After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you will embark on a riveting sightseeing tour that will give you an insight into the history and culture of the capital city. You will visit the ancient Golden Gate, St. Andrew’s Church as well as the St. Sophia Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will also see the independence square on Khreschatyk Street and marvel at the panoramic view of the Dnieper River.

Day 3

Kyiv Caves Lavra tour
Get a chance to visit Kyiv Pechersk Lavra (Monastery of Kiev Caves), the most ancient monastery in modern Ukraine and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will then see the Motherland Monument, an incredible sculpture that stands 62m tall and is part of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War, which you can enter at an additional cost. You can either stroll around the park surrounding the monument or visit the museum that is a treat for history lovers, which showcases 400,000+ relics from the Second World War.

Day 4

Andriyivsky Descent tour & Kayaking along the Dnieper River
Grab some breakfast before setting out on a 2-hour kayaking adventure along the Dnieper River, followed by a tour of Andriyivsky Descent, one of the oldest streets in the capital that feels like walking into a painting. Its unique history, architecture and distinctive colours will transport you to a magical world. The street is full of artistic salons, galleries and art cafes that you can visit. It’s also a great place to find great bargains and souvenirs to help you remember your journey for years to come.

Day 5

Chernobyl tour
It’s time for another history lesson as you drive for a full day tour to Chernobyl, the site of a massive nuclear accident in 1986. You will go through the town and see how many places were affected by it. You will also tour Pripyat, a ghost town, which was evacuated 24 hours after the nuclear accident. However, the city still embodies the Soviet spirit, and you can visit abandoned buildings with their unique architecture. Take pictures of these eerily beautiful sites and enjoy a Soviet-style lunch before heading back to Kyiv.

Day 6

Mamaeva Sloboda tour
Get ready for a fantastic excursion to the Mamaeva Sloboda (Cossack Village), the open-air museum that is a replica of a traditional Cossack that captures the Ukrainian architecture of the 18th century. You will see a tavern, three-domed wooden church, stables, storehouses and plenty of other structures that will help you understand the way of life in a Cossack. You can also dine at the museum's restaurant, which is famous for serving authentic, delicious Ukrainian cuisine (at an additional cost).

Day 7

Departure from Kyiv
It’s time to say goodbye to this beautiful city. Get your souvenirs packed and enjoy delicious Ukrainian food one last time before heading back home. Have a safe flight!
