Bunaken Marine Park
It was one of the best stays in my whole travel experience. I requested transportation from the airport to the port, and a boat to Onongresort. The price was reasonable for both ways. This place is for people who love a quiet place and appreciate the beautiful ocean in front of this resort. (In my opinion, not much for families with small children.) Last but not least, the staff was excellent. I truly enjoyed talking with them. They made sure my stay was comfortable and it was my best stay.

Location was phenomenal, especially considering the proximity to the extraordinary house reef, which was why we booked the hotel. The only reason I didn't rank it higher was that the food was not very good, and as a full board resort with no other options, the food quality was pretty important. I feel if they stuck with traditional Indonesian food and fresh seafood they would be fine, but they tried too hard to cater to their international clientele and failed. Meal times felt, at times, like an endurance test. If they got a new chef, I would go back without a second thought.

I had a very good time here! Thanks to our diving guide - Dreck, I could dive to 18m( trying but failed before after pass my SSI). There is a safe diving center: new equipment, one guide for max 4, but most time only 2 of us. 1)There is 24 hours electric power supply with air condition, which is rare in this aera. 2)best dive center: even the Siladen resort sent their guest here 3)good house rif 4) good food and change meal every day Strongly recommend Onong resort
