Aux Comtes de Hanau is a cute old inn at Ingwiller. The combined room and restaurant made for a fun relaxed experience. Our room was very spacious (“deluxe” I believe) with sitting area, full bath, and loft with 2 twin size beds in addition to a queen bed downstairs. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant has good regional offerings that were unexpectedly large. The atmosphere was very easy going. Some staff have limited English so it helps to be patient if you don’t speak some French or German. My wife speaks German well enough and other staff than the first employee would have been able to answer our questions, but like I said they are friendly and a little patience can create understanding.
