We had an amazing 11 days stay at Apex Inn. The people working there are very nice and helpful, the Beach is amazing. It is easy to reach Gulhi by public ferry which is going from Male once a day at 15h (except Fridays). The rooms have everything you need and are very clean. The Breakfast is good, you can choose between some local food or some usual western breakfast. The staff will help you with organising tours, we went to watch dolphins, we went on an amazing Sandbank trip with a nice reef for snorkelling and we went for a day trip to a all inclusive Resort. From Gluhi you have also the opportunity to visit Maafushi. I think that we will come back to this place, it was a very nice stay.

Really enjoyed the island of Gulhi with its beautiful beach and decent snorkeling. Guest house is basic, when we were not given the room advertised on hotels.com we were immediately upgraded. Breakfast was average, location great just 50m from beach

As per the amendments to the Tourism Act issued by the Maldivian Government, applicable to all travellers arriving in the Maldives from 1 January 2025, the green tax payable by travellers upon arrival at hotels (including tourist resorts, tourist hotels, hotels, tourist guest houses, tourist vessels) has been increased from USD 6.00 to USD 12.00 per person per day.
Travellers staying in tourist guesthouses and hotels on inhabited islands with 50 (fifty) rooms or less will pay USD 6.00 per person.

Kindly note that import of all vape products and individual parts of vape devices is to be made illegal from November 15, 2024, onwards. Additionally, the use, possession, production, sale, advertisement, and distribution of all vape products will be banned from December 15, 2024.

Travellers cannot bring cigarettes of any amount while arriving to the Maldives.
But they allow a packet (1 packet) which is used and in your hand. (Not a carton).
