About Wizz Air

A Hungarian airline, Wizz Air was founded in Budapest in 2004. Flying between roughly 164 destinations across 46 countries, and with a fleet consisting of 119 aircraft, the airline is one among the top low-cost airlines in Central and Eastern Europe. It also boasts a humongous training centre in Budapest which is spread across 3,800 sq m. Wizz Air Baggage Allowance

  • Wizz Priority passengers are allowed to carry 2 pieces of carry-on luggage - one piece of up to 10 kg, which must fit under the seat, and an additional trolley bag of up to 10kg, which can be placed in the over-head cabin.
  • There is no free check-in luggage allowance for Wizz Air passengers. Travellers can purchase check-in luggage with a weight allowance of 10kg, 20kg or 32kg. According to the Wizz Air website, passengers can check in up to 6 pieces of luggage. You can purchase a maximum check-in baggage allowance of 1 bag of 10 kg or 6 bags of either 20 kg or 32 kg each.
