Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, was established in 1978 and began long-haul service in 1983. The airline offers international flights from/to Seychelles Abu Dhabi, Antananarivo, Johannesburg, Mauritius, Mumbai, and Paris; you can always book multi-city routes. Air Seychelles also operates daily domestic flights and charter services throughout the country.

Seychelles Airlines Baggage Allowance

Air Seychelles provides a baggage service to satisfy the requirements of their guests. Hand luggage allowances to all destinations on international flights are; Economy Class: one bag up to 7kg and Business Class: two bags up to 12kg. Each hand luggage should not exceed maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm (115cms). Infants are allowed to have one bag up to 23kg.
A new baggage policy is introduced; Fare Choices which divided the Economy class into more options; Economy Deals, Saver, Classic and Flex and the same for Business Class, it is divided into Saver, Classic and Flex. This new option offers guests the ability to design their journey according to their needs. It offers the option for passengers who make last-minute decisions to carry extra baggage or earn more miles.
 

Baggage allowance according to the flight route:

Journey to/from South Africa, India, USA, Canada, and Brazil:

  • Economy Class: 2 bags, up to 23kg each.
  • Business Class: 2 bags, up to 32kg each.

Journey to/from the UAE, China, and Paris: 

  • Economy Deal/Saver: 1 bag, up to 23kg.
  • Economy Classic/Flex: 2 bags, up to 23kg each.
  • Business Class: 2 bags, up to 32kg each.

Domestic Baggage Allowance

  • Economy Class: 1 bag, up to 23kg.
  • Business Class: 1 bag, up to 32kg.
  • Carry on: 1 bag, up to 5kg.

The same policy goes with the connecting flight that will land in domestic countries.
