About Airblue

Airblue Limited, which was established in 2003, is a private Pakistani low-cost airline, headquartered on the 12th floor of the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) Towers in Islamabad, Pakistan. 

The airline started operations on 18 June 2004 with three leased Airbus A320-200 aircraft.

Airblue serves with a fleet that consists of next-generation Airbus A320 and A321 aircrafts, scheduled flights to six domestic destinations, Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Rahim Yar Khan, Sialkot and Multan and international destinations, like Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, along with Muscat, Oman, Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam.

Airblue Hold Baggage

  • Economy Premium Adult and Child passengers are permitted to carry two pieces of checked baggage with a maximum weight of 30kgs per each and maximum size of 138cms.

  • Economy Standard Adult and Child passengers are allowed to hold only one piece of luggage with a maximum weight of 30kgs and maximum size of 138cms.

  • Passengers travelling on Economy discount have no free checked baggage allowance.

Airblue Carry-on luggage

  • Each passenger is allowed to travel with one carry-on bag that weighs up to 7kgs maximum and which size does not exceed 115cms.

  • The cost to check in an oversized bag is 205SAR per piece.

Airblue Excess Baggage

Extra luggage charges per piece 

  • For domestic flights, the cost will be SAR98.

  • For flights to/from UAE, the price will be SAR307.

  • For flights to/from KSA, you will have to pay SAR700.

  • For flights to/from Oman, the extra piece of baggage will cost you 146SAR.

  • If you are travelling with an oversized bag, you will be charged with an additional fee of SAR200.

Lost and damaged baggage

  • Airblue holds liability for damaged or missing baggage.

  • For international flights, the airline will pay the passenger 75SAR maximum.

  • For domestic flights, the airline will pay the passenger SAR13 maximum.
